The Government, phall have power at any time to termonate this Agreement upon giving to the said John Wildey Three months notice in writing or paying him a pum equal to Three months sabury in law of such notice.

A free second Class passage shall be provided for the said John Weldey and on the satisfactory termination of his "Three years engagement back to England and if this Agreement shall be terminated by the Government under the preceding Clause the said Government shall also provide the said John Wilday with a pee Second Class passage to England provided the conduci of the paid John Wildey shall have been paksfactory during his service and shall also pay to him half salary during

the time occupied on the voyage home and in the event of the pard John Weldey being compelled at any time during the period of Three years to resign his appointment owing to illness not caused by any impropriety of conduct on his part and producing a Certificate from the Colonial Surgeon to that effect he shall be provided with a free Second Clase passage to England - 5 . refuse or from any cause (other than illness not caused by his own impropriety of conduct) become unable to por form or comply with all or any of the Arkiles of this Agreement or all or any of the duties required of him; or all or any of the orders or directions of the Government, or shall in any manner misconduct himself

Government without leave or relinquish his appointment or be dismissed or removed from his appointment in conse

consequence of misconduct he the said John Wildey shall refund and repay to the said Government for the time being or to the brown Agents for the Colonies in London for the time.

duly qualified Medical Practitioners to the effect that he the paid John Wildey is unable prom bedity or montal infirmity to contenier in the performance of his desty as such Sanitary Courseer of Works .

The said John Wildey agrees to make no claim upon the Government in respect of any fluchiation in the velice of the dotter.

The said Government shall deduct each month from the wages of the said John Wildey the sum of Four pounds (£44) which amount shull be payable to Jane Wilday the wife of the saud John Wildey in England by the Crown Agents for the Colonies on her presenting to them for acceptance a Bill shown upon by the said Government in her favor. -

The said Crown Agents for the Colonies shall not be personally bable for anything conturned in this Agreement. -

of the paid John Wildey under this Agreement to be at an end and thereupon his engagement shall cease and this Agreement shall not have any further prospective operation or force and all rights and benefits reserved to the said Johor Wildey shall cease, but without prejudice to the enforcement of existing claims .

If the paut John Wildey should fail to proceed to Hong Hong as required or within the period of Three years from the date of his arrival there either quit the service of the said
